Novatek’s RAS net profit soars by 60% to 328 bln rbl in Jan–Sep

MOSCOW, Nov 16 (PRIME) -- The net profit of Russian independent gas producer Novatek soared by around 60% on the year to 327.647 billion rubles in January–September, as calculated under Russian Accounting Standards (RAS), the company said in a report on Monday.

Revenue went down by 13.6% to 333.247 billion rubles. The cost of sales shrank by 14.1% to 185.421 billion rubles.

The gross profit contracted by 13% to 147.826 billion rubles, and the sales profit decreased by 35.9% to 43.386 billion rubles. The pretax profit jumped by around 70% to 358.32 billion rubles.

Long-term liabilities of Novatek fell 1.3% in the period to 103.324 billion rubles as of September 30, while short-term liabilities more than doubled to 190.126 billion rubles.
